Guidelines for re-homing your equine
Phoenix is not a re-homing service for animals. Our focus is rescue of those animals most at risk or in dire circumstances specifically in the south-west but throughout the whole of France.
However, below please find some advice and suggestions as to what you can do to re-home your equine.
Please note, there is a very high number of animals looking for homes here in France, and therefore it is advisable to put your horse on as many media sites as possible.

Guidelines for re-homing your equine
Firstly, create some appealing text about your equine, and ensure to include the following details:
1. Age, height, breed, gender, state of health.
2. Essential details such as chipped, vaccinated and hoof care.
3. Does your equine have any issues people should know about? Best to be honest in order to ensure his or her next home is permanent.
4. Can your equine be ridden? Can he / she be lead on a halter? What is his / her education level?
5. How does he / she get on with other horses?
6. What kind of home are you looking for?
7. Include any positives and any amusing anecdotes.
8. Price, if you are selling your equine.
9. Contact details and region.

Secondly, take good photographs. We cannot express how important a good photograph is. If you don’t have a good camera, or are not good at taking photos, find someone who is. Make sure you take a range, including close up and full length.
